Anti Money Laundering
 
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE
 The Reserve Bank Of India has asked banks to put in place a proper policy framework on the  "Know Your Customer"guidelines and "Anti Money Laundering" measures with the approval of their boards, within. The RBI has emphasized that banks can effectively control and reduce their risks only if they have an understanding of the normal and reasonable activity of the customer so that they have the means of identifying transactions that fall outside the regular pattern of activity. However, the extent of monitoring would depend on the risk sensitivity of the account. Every bank should set key indicators for accounts, taking note of the transactions involved and other risk factors. Banks should put in place a system of periodical review of risk categorization of account.
Keeping in view the above guidelines issued by RBI, PNBIIT is organizing two days programme on "Anti-Money Laundering"

IT For Non IT Officials
 
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVE

The officials posted in Information Technology Department of the Bank are expected to give IT related support to the branches/offices in their jurisdiction. It has been observed that majority of the IT Department at Circle level are being managed by non IT officials only, due to ongoing shortage of qualified IT officials. This results into various problems being faced at the Circle level, in the areas of data management, roll out support to the branches and efficient management of IT Infrastructure, and directly affects the delivery of customer services in the branches.

This programme has been designed to mitigate this problem and has been designed to provide advanced knowledge of the IT tools, techniques and technology deployed in the bank. The aim is to equip these non-IT officials in such a way that they are able to ensure data/support management of IT related issues at Circle level.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Non-IT scale I/II/III officials, deployed/identified to be deployed, in IT Departments/ZNCs/ DC/VLBs at Circle/HO level, having basic knowledge of IT and aptitude to learn advanced concepts.

Methodology

The participants will learn the basic and advanced concepts and implications of Finacle, Unix, Oracle, Networking etc through class room lectures, hands on sessions, interactive discussions and case studies.
